Glowing Sunrise Maternity | Chelsea & Bobby

5:45 is an early time to meet for photos. The skies are still dark as the birds begin to chirp. The glow of the sunrise begins to illuminate the shadows. The roads are empty and the world is sleepily awakening. But this mama to be was wide awake, ready to start her day celebrating her sweet bundle of joy kicking away inside her. Chelsea arrived this the dark summer morning with a smile on her face, and husband in tow. We met at the local farmtown corner, you know the one with the flashing red lights? This intersection was actually in a movie you may have heard of, Runaway Bride. Anyways, we headed down the sleepy road to where the fields overlook the hillsides and the country farms, just outside the town of Hereford.

This was my first photography session following quarantine from the Covid 19 virus, and it was amazing to be socializing with clients again, capturing stories and moments. Chelsea introduced me to her husband Bobby, and the three of us chatted about our experiences. To ensure safety measures, we maintained 6 ft of separation and used long lenses to photograph our session. It’s crazy to sit here typing that last sentence. It’s super surreal. But I could not have asked for a better couple or opportunity to restart this passion of mine. This session in so many ways is symbolic on so many levels.

Here we are in the wee hours of the morning, a new day, celebrating the beginning of a new chapter for Chelsea & Bobby at the beginning of the new normal for us as a country as things reopen. It was a fresh start, new beginning, and new opportunity for joy. I learned all about Chelsea & Bobby and their pregnancy experience. Then it was time to make some magic happen, and Chelsea, Bobby & Baby did not disappoint.

Enjoy the early morning magic made. Huge thank you to Chelsea & Bobby for being amazing clients. You two are going to make incredible parents, and I am beyond thrilled and excited to be able to capture this chapter of your love story!! Lots of love! <3
